We are so excited to introduce to you a very special, very personal collection. As an archetypal Pisces myself (I am Lucy - you can read my story here at Our Story), I have been yearning to create a collection that uniquely reflects the characteristics of my Zodiac Sign (also known as Star Sign or Sun Sign) - qualities that are said to affect us all when the moon transits into Pisces, regardless of the sign we were born under.
Every month, the moon passes through each sign of the Zodiac, remaining there for several days. The sign of the moon on any particular day provides a subtle undercurrent for our emotions. Like the moon's pull on our tides, it is something we intuitively feel, even if we do not fully understand it. When the moon is in Pisces, we might all experience a dreamier nature of fantasy and mysticism. It can bring about a burst of creativity, vivid dreams or imagination, more romance and compassion.
Pisceans (those born from 19th February to 20th March) are said to be the dreamers of the Zodiac. Creative, romantic, imaginative and intuitive, we are considered the most clairvoyant of the signs. Pisces belongs to the Water Element of the Zodiac, and draws many comparisons to our oceans: we are fluid and changeable, often having mysterious depths and waves of emotion.
Pisces is represented symbolically by two fish, swimming in opposite directions. This reflects the duality within Piscean nature of divided attention between fantasy and reality, and further connects this sign to the sea. Our tides are controlled by the moon; the glyph symbol for Pisces shows two crescents pointing outwards, drawing parallels to waxing and waning phases. The collection features dualistic shapes with gemstone pairs, and delicate pieces made from unique fishtail chains - referencing fish and water symbolism with stories that link meaning, moon and magic.
The dates for Pisces span across February and March - so each piece in this collection will be made with the corresponding birthstones of amethyst and aquamarine. Colours said to be harmonious for Pisces are shades of lavender, purple and sea-green - another incentive to draw upon these jewels!
~ Our amethyst pieces are the first to drop - ready for any February birthdays you might intend to gift these pieces for. ~
Of course, crystals are accessible to everyone - you don't need to have been born under the sign of Pisces, or in the months of February or March to benefit from the beauty of the pieces. Their soothing colours and attributes can bring serenity and harmony to all.
