So, overall, we aim for a total time of 5 working days from the day you place your order to the day you receive it. Larger or special orders may take longer - we will communicate with you every step of the way regarding this.

Please contact us as soon as possible, as it can take up to 24 hours for us to respond. Yes - you will receive a notification via email when we have dispatched your order. This email will contain your Royal Mail Tracking Number. You can use this number, via the Royal Mail website, to keep track of its journey. Please feel free to email us if you have any questions or issues.
If you'd like to cancel your order, or make any changes to it, please email us immediately at info@lunationjewellery.co.uk. If you have not received a dispatch notification email from us, this means your order has not been fulfilled yet. We can therefore change or refund your order for you.
Absolutely! We LOVE that you are choosing our jewellery to send a little bit of unique magic to someone special. We package all of our orders very carefully, and this includes using a presentation box (for rings and necklaces), cotton drawstring pouch, and gold and silver leaf handmade paper - all as standard. Please visit Our Collaborators page to learn more about our packaging and where it comes from - click HERE.
We handwrite a personal message of thanks with every order, but if you'd prefer this message to be tailored to your recipient, then please make sure you tick the Personalised Gift Message option on the item listing - a box will appear for you to write your personal message in. If you forget to do this, no problem - please send us an email at info@lunationjewellery.co.uk immediately after placing your order. If you have not received a dispatch notification email from us, this means your order is still waiting to be processed - so there's still time for us to write your special message.
Please ensure you write your recipient's delivery address details accurately when placing your order via our online checkout. Please note that our free delivery option is currently only available to UK Mainland addresses.

The majority of our jewellery is made in Jaipur, India - famous all over the world for its quality gemstones, jewellery industry and skilled artistry. We work with small, family-run businesses, who we share rapport and trust with. Some of our necklace chains, along with more limited or specialist pieces, are made by specially selected manufacturers across the globe. All of our collaborators share our passion for handmade, unique, responsibly sourced jewels and craftsmanship. Every single piece is checked, held (with gloves on!) and put together by the Lunation Tribe in Norfolk, UK, before being carefully sent to you.
The Lunation Jewellery Collections are a truly collaborative effort. Lucy Rowe is the heart behind the dream and ethos of Lunation Jewellery - the hands behind the work belong to Lucy, the Lunation Tribe and our artisan makers. Lucy designs the concept for each collection, deciding which gemstones, shapes and styles will best represent the meaningful intentions of the pieces. Some of the handmade jewellery includes pieces that our trusted providers already have experience of making. However, some designs are specially requested by Lucy - combinations of gemstones and formations that haven't been made before. Our makers are very attentive to the vision of Lunation, and together we strive to bring you jewellery with the love, attention and individuality it deserves.
We highly recommend that you please take good care of your jewellery, so you can enjoy it for a long time. We advise that you do not wear your jewellery whilst sunbathing, showering or bathing, doing household cleaning or when sleeping. Extreme temperatures, cleaning agents and soapy products can damage the finish of your jewellery. We recommend always removing your jewellery when participating in any sports activity, before going swimming or using a spa - knocks and bumps, and exposure to chlorine, can also cause damage. We suggest putting your jewellery on last when getting ready for the day, as perfumes, lotions, makeup and different cosmetic products can affect its condition.
When you are not wearing them, we advise that you store your delicate pieces safely in their original packaging - your gift box and/or cotton drawstring pouch.
To clean your jewellery, we recommend gently wiping the surface with a specialised jewellery polishing cloth (take extra care on the delicate chains!). Sterling silver plating will naturally darken or tarnish with normal wear. Please do not dip your jewellery in cleaners or solutions - this may cause permanent damage to the metal. A polishing cloth should restore its shine and keep it looking its best.
We believe in the power and beauty of genuine, natural gemstones and crystals, and want to share their wonderful qualities with you. That's why we endeavour to only use real gemstones. Our moonstone, labradorite, druzy crystal, clear quartz, amethyst, carnelian, agate, howlite and aquamarine are authentic, naturally occurring crystals, sourced by our providers whose integrity we trust. This means that each stone is unique to you, with their own variations in colour and texture. We believe that any surface markings within the gemstones add to their unique beauty.
Howlite is a pale crystal with naturally occurring black veins. Because of these unique markings, vivid colour is often added to the stone to create a similar appearance to turquoise. Turquoise is a highly prized gemstone, treasured by many cultures. However, it is becoming more rare and expensive. We adore turquoise for its gorgeous colours and connection to Native American spirituality, and want to represent it in our jewellery. At the same time, we want our jewellery to be accessible to all, and affordability and availability play an important part in this. Consequently, our Wolf Moon Necklace features coloured howlite - the wearer still reaps the rewards of wearing a natural stone, with the added benefit of vibrant turquoise colour.
Honesty is very important to us, and we will always state the authenticity of the stone used in each item listing.
Any jewellery made with copper, or copper alloys - such as brass and sterling silver - can tarnish over time as it naturally comes into contact with the air. This is unavoidable and not a fault - therefore, this alone is not a valid reason for a refund under our returns policy. Occasionally, this tarnishing can leave behind a surface mark on the skin when worn. This does not mean that your jewellery is of poor quality or fake silver. The reason behind any skin discoloration is due to the jewellery's metal composition reacting with the unique properties of the wearer's skin - this includes natural levels of skin chemicals, sweating, and any products or creams used.
The composition of alloys and metals in our jewellery is very reliable, and so any discoloration you might experience will not be due to low quality. There are several ways to remedy this and to prevent it from happening in the future. These include following our guidelines above, described underneath How can I look after my Lunation jewellery?, and using a polymer barrier product designed specifically to seal the metal and prevent staining, To remove any skin discoloration, you can use waterproof eye makeup remover or rubbing alcohol on a cotton pad, taking care to rub the webbing of your fingers (green colouring can cling on to the nooks and crannies!), and washing your hands immediately after.
